HoneyNotify Docs

Privacy Notice

Effective date: 15 September 2026.

HoneyNotify processes account identity, organisation, billing, application configuration, device tokens, external user identifiers, tags, notification content, delivery results, events, IP addresses, audit records, and support communications to provide, secure, bill, support, and improve the service.

The service operator is controller for account, billing, security, and support data. For recipient data submitted by customers, the customer is controller and HoneyNotify acts as processor. Processing relies on contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where applicable.

Data is shared only with infrastructure, payment, monitoring, Apple, Firebase, and support subprocessors needed to operate the service, or where law requires. International transfers require an appropriate legal mechanism.

Account owners can export company data and schedule deletion from Privacy controls. Some security, billing, and legal records may be retained where required. Disabled tokens and event-level data should be removed under the configured retention policy.

Individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection through the relevant customer or service operator and may complain to their supervisory authority. Security incidents are handled under the operational response process.

The production operator must insert its legal identity, address, contact details, subprocessor list, exact retention periods, and supervisory authority before launch.
